Distributed computing is a field of computer science that studies distributed systems. A distributed system is a system whose components are located on different networked computers, which communicate and coordinate their actions by passing messages to one another.

The scope of this journal covers general introductory concepts in the design and implementation of distributed systems, covering all the major branches such as:

  • Parallel Computing
  • Cloud Computing
  • Grid Computing
  • Cluster Computing
  • Supercomputing
  • Many-core Computing
  • Telecommunication Networks
  • Network Applications
